Murals, 2017

In Tehran, the city hall asks mural artists to paint portraits of "martyrs" of the wars Iran has participated in on various walls in the city. As involvement with war is ongoing in my country, new murals are painted each year. The photobook is a documentation of some of these murals in Tehran, Photos in the photobook are sorted based on the death date of the persons to whom the mural refers.
